Big and tall mens clothes
Ok my son is 6`7`` (no kidding) and he does have a 40 inch waist but proportionally on a 5`8 kid it is like having a 32 inch waist so it is not that bad but a little big. He mostly has a laid back style with tees and polos and boring pants. He is going into tenth grade. So his pants are 40x36 and he needs xxl shirts for the length -- so that puts him out of most regular stores.
All the big and tall mens stuff looks like it is for a 50 year old man or at least a man out of college who goes to work. I need stuff for high school! Any tall guys or moms/wives of tall guys out there who know where to get 36+ inseams for guys that are not designed for 50 year old men?
Usually I am a secret clotheshorse and find the perfect clothes on eBay (though I do not like eBay right now for administrative reasons) Target and at the second hand store. But for my kid nothing fits unless it is old man style.
The poor kid has enough problems without being the lamest dresser in school.

He has high functioning autism so it is not like he is going for homecoming king or anything but he gets along with some kids
at school and I want him to simply look like he fits in and does not stick out in a bad way.
Usually I am shopper of the world. My 12 year old daughter still lets me pick out her clothes because I have an eye for fashion
and what would work on her 5`7`` size 3 body and her desire to look modest and not slutty but not frumpy either.
I have always done fine picking out my family`s clothes but now I am kinda stumped.
My husband is tall too but we can usually find enough 34x36 and he can wear plain pocket denims and khaki chinos and be fine
while a teenage boy would have a harder time.
Would it be really mean and abusive to get him the tees and polos he likes and a bunch of Dockers khakis from Penneys? Honestly
that is all I can find lately now that he has grown to be a 36 inseam.
A diet will not change the fact that he needs a long inseam but thank you for playing.
